The procedures for School Closings, Delayed Openings or Early Closings | School Closings | If Loudoun or Fairfax announces schools are closed, no bus service will be provided from Loudoun County | Late Openings | • If Loudoun announces a delayed opening and Fairfax does not, Loudoun buses will run on the Loudoun schedule.
• If Fairfax announces a late opening and Loudoun does not, the Loudoun buses will run on the Fairfax schedule.
• If Loudoun and Fairfax announce a delayed opening, Loudoun buses will run on the Loudoun schedule. | Early Closing | If Loudoun or Fairfax announce an early closing, Loudoun buses will report immediately to Jefferson for transportation home irregardless of the closing being I or 2 hours early. | | In the event of a delayed opening, you should continue to listen for at least another hour or so in case the situation changes and a decision is made to close school for the day. | | Should you have any questions, please contact the Transportation Office at 771-6480. |
